Costumes -
The Costumes Of The Characters For Each Film Differs From One Another. The Costumes From The Characters Of “Wedding Crashers” Shows Them Wearing Suits. This Ties In With The Name Of The Movie As At A Wedding, You Are Most Likely To Dress Smart. However, The Costumes Of The Characters In “Step Up” Are Shown To Be Very Casual. This Connotes That The Film Will Be About Regular People On A Daily Basis As The Audience Are Able To See From The Way They Are Dressed, That This Appeals To Everyone. The Film “Scream” Has Not Shown Any Costumes As The Main Image Is Focused Upon A Face Which Is What You Would Expect To See On A Horror Film’s Advertisement.

Light -
The Light For “Wedding Crashers” Is Very Bright As The Background Is White, Which Therefore Shows The Two Characters Able To Stand Out. Similarly, The Lighting For “Step Up” Is Also Very Vivid. This Is Because; Both Advertisements Are Shown To Symbolise Romance Therefore, Their Lighting Would Be Intense In Order To Attract Their Target Audience. However, The Lighting For “Scream” Is Shown To Be Very Dull And Depressing. This Then Connotes That The Film Will Be A Thriller, Therefore The Audience Would Be Able To Tell Straight Away. The Lighting For “Scream” Is Black Which Again Implies That The Film Being Advertised Is Going To Be A Horror Movie.


Actors -
The Actors Shown For “Wedding Crashers” Are Two Men Dressed In A Suit. There Actions Show That There Enjoying Life. Their Facial Expressions Also Show How They Are Taking Pleasure In Whatever They Have Left. Similarly, The Actors For “Step Up” Show Affection For One Another As They Are Gazing Into Each Others Eyes. Therefore, The Audience Are Able To Pick Up Straight Away That This Advertisement Is A Film About Romance. However, There Is Only One Actor Being Shown In “Scream”. However, You Are Only Able To See A Close Up Of Her Face. She Has A Traumatized Look Upon Her, Which Then Gives The Audience An Impression That Something Bad Is Going To Happen, Therefore Creating An Enigma For Them To Then Go And Watch The Film.

Make Up -
There Is No Make Up Used For The Following Two Advertisements, “Step Up” And “Wedding Crashers”. Therefore, This Shows The Audience That The Film Is Aimed At Regular People Getting On With Their Ordinary Lives. However, There Is A Slight Use Of Make Up Used For The Close Up Shot Of The Face In “Scream” To Be Able To Focus Upon The Characters Eyes. With This, The Audience Are Able To View That The Character Is Disturbed, As Her Eyes Stand Out More And Attracts The Audience.

Props -
There Are No Props Being Shown In The Three Of The Extracts.

Setting -
For The “Scream” Advertisement There Is No Setting As The Main Focus Is Upon The Characters Face. Similarly, “Wedding Crashers” Has No Setting Either As It Shows The Two Characters With A White Background. However, The Setting For “Step Up” Shows The Two Characters In The Middle Of A Street. They Are In The Position Of A Step That Can Take Place In A Routine, Therefore The Film Can Be About The Two Characters Street Dancing, As It Is Set In The Middle Of A Street.
